Injuries ended my competitive career nearly right out of high school and since then I’ve sought to figure out what makes great athletes tick. By having a background in sport’s training and sport nutrition I was able to turn myself into a much better athlete than I might have been. But since then I’ve done some real work. I’ve studied more than 150 books and scientific journals on sport science and all of the related fields, which has led me to what really works and what doesn’t. Here are some of the things I’ve been able to do, from the past and the present:
• Led a District Runner-Up team with 156 tackles my sophomore year in high school
• Cut 2 tenths off my 40yd dash time in 3 weeks
• Added 6 inches to my vertical jump in the same time
• Added 4 feet to my shot put record in 2 weeks, on my way to States
• Competed in 4 track and field events in District Playoffs. 4x100m Relay, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin
• Cut 20lbs of excess fat and dropping to 7% Body Fat from December 26th 2008 to February 13th 2009. 49 Days. 218lbs to 198lbs.
• Currently 210lbs 8% Body Fat. As of March 15, 2009. 12lbs of muscle in 30 days.
Never touched a performance enhancing drug and never will.
